> Anni Moorhead
Anni took her first majorette class at the age of 11. It was quickly recognised that she had a natural flair and talent for the sport of baton twirling. Six months later she participated in her first solo competition and continuted to compete individually for 4 years until the age of 15. During this time, Anni won many medal placings at local and national level.
Her main passion was teaching and at the age of 14 she began assisting with teaching and setting routines for other twirlers. One year later, Anni became the Head Trainer at her troupe due to the main trainer leaving to pursue studies at university.
Aged 21, Anni decided to pursue her love of instructing further and formed her own baton twirling troupe which is now in its 13th successful year. She qualified as an international level baton twirling coach, grades coach and grades examiner in 2008. Using this expertise, Anni has coached many students to win national titles throughout the UK.
In October 2013, Anni established Revolutions Dance Studio. Since opening in 2013, student numbers have grown massively with new classes being added to the timetable regularly. RDS students are able to take grade examinations, participate in solo and team competitions and perform on stage and at fetes and carnivals.
In addition to teaching at the school base at Arrow Vale Sports Centre and Tardebigge Community Hall Anni also teaches curricular and after-school clubs across Redditch and Bromsgrove.
She is immensely proud of Revolutions Dance Studio and all that it has achieved so far. Anni's continuing vision is to further grow the school whilst offering new opportunities for all Revolutions dancers. She has big plans for 2019 including several big shows and competitions.
